Senior Vice President of Development

Jed S. Schneider, the Senior Vice President of Development, is a graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a degree in Economics. He joined Pioneer in 1993 as a project manager with eight years of construction experience in office and retail projects in New York State. Since joining Pioneer, he has been involved with overseeing the construction of assisted living and dementia care facilities throughout New York and New England, having overseen the construction of 19 facilities with Pioneer which represent approximately $130 millions worth of new construction, totaling over 700,000 square feet.

Additionally, Mr. Schneider has overseen the construction and renovation of hotels, office buildings and shopping centers in Arizona and New York. His role in these types of projects is to oversee and control all aspects of construction, beginning with budgeting, cost estimating and scheduling through the bidding and hiring of contractors and sub-contractors and following the completion through the issuance of Certificate of Occupancy.
