RICHARD J. TAIT
Director of Corporate Services

Richard J. Tait joined the company in 1992 as Chief Engineer for the Syracuse properties and in 1994 became responsible for Pioneer's entire portfolio of properties. In 2000, he rejoined the Pioneer team serving as Construction Manager on two major Pioneer projects - the corporate headquarters for Time Warner Cable and the 100 room Hilton Garden Inn. He has served as Director of Facilities Engineering and Vice President of Property Management, prior to assuming his current role as Director of Corporate Services.

Rick has a broad background in the maintenance and engineering fields. Prior to joining Pioneer, he was facilities manager with Carrier Corporation in Syracuse, with responsibilities for operation and maintenance of their corporate campus. With Allied Signal Corporation he acted as a supervisor of the Electrical Department as well as serving as a member of their Reliability Engineering Group. He also served as Director of Operations for Keystone Property Trust, a Pennsylvania based REIT and took responsibility for their entire New York property inventory as well as development of their Y2K preparedness program.

Following a tour of duty with the United States Marine Corps, Rick received his education and training at Onondaga Community College and Syracuse University.
