Our Role:
- Adaptive security systems such as enclosed outdoor courtyards, a natural indoor walking path, and an electronic alarm system provide safety and security
- Color coded wall coverings and visual cues such as memory boxes outside residents rooms increase orientation and assist in navigation
- The buildings are designed to maximize the residents’ independence and functional skills
- Each wing contains a common area with a living room, dining areas, a wandering path around the central courtyard, den, and refreshment center
- Interior courtyards and screened in porches allow for safe outdoor activity
